2 Days Tour From Fes to Chefchaouen
Let’s go on a 2-day tour from Fes to Chefchaouen! First, we’ll visit Meknes, which has ancient Roman ruins, a big gate fit for a king, and a secret water palace where horses used to play.
Next, we’ll go to Chefchaouen, also known as the blue city, where the alleys are painted in shades of blue. We’ll drink mint tea in cozy squares and see lots of things for sale in the marketplace.

Tour From Fes to Chefchaouen Itinerary:
Day 1: From Fes to visit Meknes then to Chefchaouen
Come join us on a 2-day tour from Fes to Chefchaouen where we’ll see some amazing sights! First, we’ll visit the ancient city of Meknes, known for its history. We’ll see the Roman ruins of Volubilis, which are well-preserved. We’ll also check out the Bab El Mansour gate, which is a famous spot in Morocco. After that, we’ll go to another historic location called Heri-Es Souani, which used to be an important water reservoir for the city and even had horses living inside. We’ll finish the day by visiting the prison of Kara, which is an old underground jail from the 18th century. Finally, we’ll head to Chefchaouen and stay at a traditional riad or hotel for the night.
Day 2: Visiting Chefchaouen and back to Fes
After a delicious breakfast at your traditional riad, we will pick you up to start your exploration of Chefchaouen and Akchour.
Our first stop is the Grand Mosque, the oldest mosque in Chefchaouen, located in the central Place Outa Hmmam, near the city’s historic kasbah. Marvel at its intricate architecture and learn about its rich history.
Next, we will take a walk through the picturesque streets of Chefchaouen, admiring the vibrant blue-washed buildings and charming alleyways. Be sure to stop at the Plaza Uta El Hmmam, the largest square in the city, to capture stunning photos and soak up the lively atmosphere.
After lunch, we will drive for about 40 minutes to the charming village of Akchour, nestled in the Rif Mountains. Here, you will have the opportunity to embark on a hike through the lush forests and cascading waterfalls, or simply relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.
At the end of the day, we will return to Fes, where our unforgettable 2-day tour concludes.
