9 Days Morocco Tour from Tangier to Marrakech

9 Days Tour From Tangier To Marrakech Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival to Tangier

We’ll pick you up at Ibn Battuta Airport or your chosen port to start our 9-day tour from Tangier to Marrakech and take you to your hotel to rest. We might even go see the old Medina if you show up early. This is where the adventure starts!

Today, we’re going to explore Tangier before going to Chefchaouen for the night. At our first stop, we’ll see the American Legation, which is the first US government building outside of the US. After that, we’ll take a walk through the ancient medina. Next, we go to Cape Spartel to see the mysterious Hercules Cave. Then we’ll go to Chefchaouen, which is known as the “Blue Pearl” of Morocco. We are going to climb up to the Spanish church to see the city and the beautiful sunset. In the end, we’ll take you to your hotel. Today is going to be full of fun trips and beautiful sights.

We explore Chefchaouen on the third day of our 9-day tour of Morocco from Tangier to Marrakech before going to Fes for the night. We start the day with a slow walk along Chefchaouen’s beautiful blue streets. We keep going to the Kasbah Museum, which is the city’s first building and tells us about its past. After a trip to the Ras El Ma waterfalls, we’ll go to the lively Wetat Lhmam square for tea and some local entertainment. We left for Fes in the afternoon, and you’ll spend the night in a wonderful traditional Riad hotel. A day of exciting trips is coming up!

Today, our trip takes us to Fes, which was Morocco’s first capital and a royal city. It is full of history and culture. We are about to have a lot of amazing adventures. We start the day by going to Bab Boujloud, a beautiful gate built in the 1100s that leads to Fes El Bali, the old part of the city. Then we’ll take our time walking through its small streets and see the Bou Inania and Attarine Madrassas, which are both beautiful examples of Moroccan architecture. Our next stop is Al-Karaouiyne, which is the oldest university in the world. After that, we’ll go to the famous Chouara Tannery, which is one of Fes’s three historical tanneries.

As we continue our trip, we will see the King’s palace, which is famous for its seven beautiful golden gates, and climb to the top of the Borj Nord to get a great view of the city’s beautiful scenery. We’re going to take a slow walk in the peaceful Garden of Sbil. To relax, you can choose between a traditional hot bath (Hamam) or a relaxing massage in the late afternoon. Tomorrow is a day full of exploring and taking it easy in Fes.

We’re still on our way from Fes to Merzouga in the stunning Sahara Desert. Along the way, there’s a lot to see. We’ll start our trip by going to Ifrane, which is sometimes called the “Little Switzerland of Morocco.” We will take a moment to enjoy the Atlas Lion figure, which was made by a German prisoner as a tribute to the endangered Atlas lion that used to live in the nearby forest. Next, we’ll go to Azrou and explore the Cedar Forest. During a break, we’ll have the chance to see Barbary Macaque monkeys, which are also called magots or apes.

Midelt is the next town on our way. This town is often called the “City of Apples.” Depending on the time, we might stop for a tasty lunch. We will keep going and go through the Talghomt mountain pass on our way to the Errachidia Dam, which is an important water source for the Sahara area. When you get to Todgha Gorges, you can go on a guided hour-long walk through this beautiful gorge. The rocks are over 300 meters high, and a river winds through the rock. It’s a truly amazing sight.

After that, we’ll go to the beautiful Dades Gorges and stop at two extraordinary places. The first place we’ll visit is the “Monkey Toes,” a group of mountains that look like the fingers of a huge monkey thanks to wind and rain.

As we continue our trip, we will go along the tricky turns of Tissdrine. This area was once used as the background for a Cadillac ad because of its beautiful views and dangerous turns. You will spend the night in a cozy hotel or a traditional Riad that is tucked away in the beautiful valleys.
