Day 1: Marrakech to Zagora via Ait Benhaddou

Your Luxury Sahara Desert Tour From Marrakech will begin with a pickup from your accommodation at around 8:00 AM. We will drive through the High Atlas Mountains, passing by the famous Tizi n’Tichka pass, which is 2,260 meters high. We will make several stops along the way for you to take pictures and enjoy the scenery. Of course, you may also request additional stops at any time.

We will continue to Zagora, stopping at one of Morocco’s fortified villages, Ait Benhaddou, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will have time to explore the main attractions of this unique village.

After that, we will drive to our final destination, the Zagora Desert. We will arrive in the late evening, just in time for a camel ride and sunset. We will ride the camels to our Berber camp, which is set in the heart of the desert.

At our desert camp, you will enjoy a delicious Moroccan meal, listen to traditional Berber music, and gaze at the beautiful starry sky.

Day 2: Zagora passing by Ouarzazate to Marrakech

You can get up early to see a beautiful sunrise in the Zagora Desert. Then, have a traditional breakfast and take a scenic drive through the Anti Atlas Mountains where you can see pretty villages and green mountains. Next, go to the famous Oscar Atlas Studio, where popular movies like Cleopatra and Alexander were filmed. You can explore the sets, which include castles, banks, and prisons.
