Day 1: Marrakech to Boumalne Dades

With us, you’ll embark on a journey through Tizi n’Tichka Pass, taking in gorgeous sights that will take your breath away. But hold on tight because there’s so much more to come! We’ll climb the majestic High Atlas Mountains and stop at a panoramic viewpoint that will leave you in awe, standing at an impressive 2,260 m above sea level. We’ll visit the legendary Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a true gem known as one of the best filming locations in Africa. This is where we’ll stop for a delicious lunch. Our journey continues with a stop in Boumalne Dades and the stunning Dades Gorges, where we’ll spend an unforgettable night.
Day 2: Dades Gorges to Merzouga desert
Today, we continue the second day of our 5-Day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga Desert with excitement. Our first stop is the popular Todra Gorges, a paradise for climbers and nature enthusiasts. We’ll have time to hike the inspiring canyons towering up to 300 meters. Keep an eye out for Berber Nomads tending to their goats by the spring.
After Tinghir and Tinjedad, we’ll stop for a delightful lunch. As we approach the desert via Erfoud and its fascinating fossil workshops, the landscapes change, showing the golden dunes of Erg Echabbi. Ready for the camel trek through these dunes and the enchanting sunset?
Our ultimate destination for the day is the Berber camp, where we have an extraordinary desert night. Starting with a delicious traditional Moroccan dinner. After that, the camp staff will make a campfire, ready for a Berber party under the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert-The desert tour
The third leg of our 5-day Marrakech desert tour itinerary immerses us in the desert’s wonders. This exhilarating journey begins with a visit to the Berber Nomads, the indigenous people of Morocco, who lead a modest life in tents while tending to goats, sheep, and donkeys.
Next, we explore the renowned kohl mines in the M’Ifiss region, formerly managed by the French administration. As we continue, we unveil the desert’s most breathtaking panoramic vistas, allowing you to revel in its boundless beauty.
Our adventure takes us to another unique way of life as we visit the Gnawa people, originally hailing from Mali and Gabon, and now settled in parts of Morocco, such as Khamlia, our next destination. The Gnaoua people are celebrated for their warm hospitality and will treat you to mesmerizing music and captivating traditional dances.
Before concluding the day, we venture to discover some of the famous desert oases, offering a refreshing contrast to the arid landscape. Finally, we will transport you to your accommodation.
Day 4: Merzouga Desert to Ouarzazate
We have breakfast at the hotel before continuing our 5-day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga Desert. We take a different route back to Ouarzazate. First, we will see the beautiful Rissani landscapes with lots of palm trees. We will stop in a city called Nkob to have a tasty lunch. We also pass many lovely Berber villages with different landscapes. In the middle of the day, we visit the Daraa valley, which has the biggest river in Morocco. you will learn a lot and enjoy exploring this area. Finally, we drive to Ouarzazate to spend the night.
Day 5: Ouarzazate to Marrakech
Today is the last day of our 5-Day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga Desert and we’re excited to explore the cool city of Ouarzazate. It’s known as the “Ouallywood of Morocco” for its movie industry. It’s going to be a great day and we’ll have lots of time to enjoy the city. Atlas Studios is the most famous thing in Ouarzazate. It’s been used as a set for famous shows like Game Of Thrones and Prison Break. It’s a really special place that we’ll all remember. Then, we’ll drive back to Marrakech and drive by the 1000 Kasbahs way. We hope you’ve had a great time with us. Our service is just as we promised and we’ll drop you off back at your hotel.
