3 Day Tour from Fes to Marrakech Itinerary:

Day 1: Fes to Merzouga desert

On day 1 of our 3-day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech, we’ll pick you up from your accommodation. We’ll drive through pretty mountains to visit a clean city called Azrou. We’ll see the Atlas Lion Statue there. Then we’ll go to a forest where we’ll meet Barbary Macaque monkeys. We’ll visit two towns called Zaida and Midelt. We’ll drive past Morocco’s biggest date source and then reach the desert with its beautiful golden dunes. We’ll ride camels to our desert campsite and watch the sunset and sunrise. We’ll also hear Berber music and make memories during this amazing journey through Morocco’s landscapes and culture.

On day two of our desert tour, you will wake up early to see a gorgeous sunrise and have breakfast. We will then leave the desert and drive through Erfoud, known for its mineral mines, to Fezna Irrigation system. Next, we will go to the Berber village of Melaab where you can dress in traditional Berber clothes. After that, we will cross the city of Tinghir to see the highest canyons in Morocco. Our driver will stop so you can enjoy the area with the underground river and people climbing or having picnics. At the end of the day, we will drive to Boumalne Dades where you will stay in a local Berber hotel or Riad. This day will be full of amazing sights and cultural experiences.

We start the final day of our 3-day tour with breakfast in Boumalne Dades. First, we go to Kalaat M’gouna, which is known as the city of roses. Then we go to Ouarzazate, which is famous for its Atlas studios. After that, we visited the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, which is the oldest Kasbah in Morocco. It’s in a fortified village and is a great place to take amazing photos. We then drive on the highest road in Morocco, Tizi-N-Tichka, and take some panoramic pictures. Lastly, we visit one of the Argan oil women’s cooperatives where you can learn about how they make the oil. This is the end of our 3-day journey that has been full of cultural experiences and beautiful sights.
